Job Description

Overview:
Front Range Equine Performance is seeking a dependable, motivated individual to join our rehabilitation team as a Weekend Barn Hand. This role supports the daily care and comfort of our horses and helps maintain a clean, safe, and productive facility.
Responsibilities:
Assist with morning chores, including: AM/PM feedings Administering oral medications Cleaning stalls and paddocks 2x per day Cleaning and refilling water buckets and tanks 2x per day Prep afternoon/PM feed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barn Support overall barn operations to ensure high-quality rehabilitation care
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience handling horses and performing barn cleaning duties (preferred) Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude Reliability and attention to detail in completing daily responsibilities
Compensation:
Rate:
$18.00 Time-and-a-half pay on holidays when scheduled for a shift:
New Year's Day, Half-Day New Year's Eve, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day Schedule:
2 mornings and afternoons per weekend (approximately 8-10 hours/weekend) Occasional weekend and Holiday availability required Understanding that hours may vary seasonally and with rehabilitation patient caseload
