Impulse Dance and Fitness is hiring a part-time staff member to join our Front Desk Team! Impulse's mission is to be an accessible, inclusive adult dance studio that serves a diverse and joyful community. We are seeking applicants with consistent weekday, weeknight, and weekend availability. This is a part-time position that offers an average of 10-20 hours a week.

Monday evening 7:00-9:00 pm Tuesday evening 6:30-9:30 pm Thursday evening 3:30-8:55 pm Friday evening 4:15 pm-9:05 pm Saturday 9:00 am-2:30 pm Other shifts as needed

We are looking for an individual with an outgoing, non-judgmental, upbeat personality who sees the value in our program and can be enthusiastic in marketing our value to customers. Our desk staff are key to the studio's daily operations and perform a variety of administrative tasks and sales. Examples of some tasks you will be performing are: communicating with prospects and members, conducting new member orientations, selling memberships, promoting studio specials, consulting members on goals and changes to enrollment, navigating and updating client management systems and studio policies, communicating with supervisors and instructors, and cleaning the studio. To be successful as an Impulse front desk member , multitasking, attention to detail, adaptability, and stress management skills are essential in order to streamline office operations. You should be able to handle unexpected events in a timely and effective manner with a professional yet personable demeanor. As our desk staff are the face of the company, you should have strong customer service interpersonal skills. Ultimately, our desk team's duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk interacts with members positively and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.
