Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Sandwich Artist, where your enthusiasm and culinary skills will create delicious, fresh sandwiches that delight our customers. In this fast-paced, quick service environment, you'll be the face of our brand—serving with a smile, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation, and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your food handling expertise while providing exceptional customer service in a lively café or retail setting. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of fresh sandwiches, salads, and other menu items with precision and care, following established recipes and food safety guidelines Engage with customers in a friendly, energetic manner, taking orders accurately and upselling additional items to enhance their experience Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently for order processing, cash handling, and transaction management Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all food prep areas, including proper food handling and storage practices Assist with food industry tasks like bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring the overall tidiness of the café or restaurant environment Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards Follow all safety protocols related to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or retail food environments is highly desirable Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong skills in customer service, sales, upselling, and cash handling Basic math skills for cashiering and retail math calculations Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in a restaurant or café setting Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during peak hours Prior kitchen or food industry experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued Join us as a Sandwich Artist and become part of a vibrant team dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences.
