Deli Associate

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving deli meats and sandwiches. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that our customers have a positive shopping experience by maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their deli selections. Prepare and serve deli items, including operating a meat slicer to cut meats, cheeses, salads, and prepare sandwiches. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area, including cleaning equipment Ensure that all food products are properly labeled and stored according to health regulations. Provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers about menu items and specials. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the deli department. Experience Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred but not required. Must be at least 18 years of age due to state law
