Maryland Fried Chicken is looking for a reliable Front-of-House Team Member / Cashier to join our team. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with people, can stay organized in a fast-paced restaurant environment, and takes pride in providing great customer service.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful customer service Take customer orders accurately in person and over the phone Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit card payments, and change Package and prepare orders for dine-in and takeout Keep the front counter, dining area, and other front-of-house areas clean and organized Complete end-of-night cleaning and closing duties Restock front-of-house supplies and prepare the area for the next shift Work with kitchen and other team members to ensure orders are accurate and completed efficiently Assist with other restaurant duties as needed

Qualifications:

Friendly, positive, and professional attitude Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy Strong customer service and communication skills Basic math skills and ability to accurately handle money and make change Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment Able to work well independently and as part of a team Previous restaurant, cashier, or customer service experience is preferred, but not required Able to stand for extended periods and perform normal restaurant duties throughout a shift
