As a key member of our Subway Restaurant, you will be responsible for preparing fresh sandwiches, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for food preparation and a strong commitment to delivering a positive dining experience. Prior experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail food environments is preferred but not required. The position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in the food industry. Responsibilities Prepare sandwiches and other menu items according to company standards and recipes Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, including food prep areas, dining spaces, and equipment Ensure food safety standards are consistently met in accordance with health regulations Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operations during shifts Assist with bussing tables and maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness Follow proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols at all times Skills Experience in food preparation, food safety, and sanitation practices Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and quick calculations Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment typical of quick service or fast food restaurants Knowledge of the food industry, including serving, upselling, and food presentation techniques Experience working in café, restaurant, grocery store, or retail environments is advantageous Excellent time management skills to ensure timely order completion during busy periods Ability to work well within a team while maintaining a positive attitude This role offers an engaging environment where you can develop your culinary talents while delivering memorable experiences to our guests.
