Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Sandwich Artist and Cashier, where you'll be the friendly face that creates delicious sandwiches and provides exceptional customer service. This role combines food preparation with cashier responsibilities, ensuring each guest enjoys a quick, satisfying experience. You'll operate POS systems, handle food safely, and maintain a clean workspace—all while working in a fast-paced, energetic environment that values teamwork and efficiency. Responsibilities Prepare fresh sandwiches and food items according to company standards while maintaining quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha and Micros to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change while adhering to cash handling procedures. Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, including kitchen equipment, food prep areas, and dining spaces, following food safety guidelines. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu options, and ensuring their needs are met promptly. Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation shifts. Requirements Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred; culinary or café experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros for sales processing and cashiering tasks. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy hours without sacrificing quality or safety. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately. Prior retail sales or grocery store experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
