This is primarily a front-counter customer service position . We are looking for someone who already has deli experience and is comfortable operating a commercial meat slicer. Responsibilities Provide friendly, professional customer service Take customer orders and assist customers with product selection Slice meats and cheeses using a commercial meat slicer Weigh, package, and label deli products Operate the cash register/POS system and process payments Restock and maintain an organized, attractive deli counter Keep the counter and customer area clean and sanitary Follow proper food-handling and sanitation procedures Assist with other shop duties as needed Requirements Previous deli experience required Must have experience using a commercial meat slicer Experience slicing meats and cheeses Excellent customer-service and communication skills Friendly, dependable, and punctual Able to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Food-service or butcher-shop experience preferred Schedule Wednesday -
