Overview:
- Join our team as a Barista/Bartender of coffee and wine at our coffee cafe where you will craft delicious beverages and provide exceptional customer service. We are looking for an Awesome part time team member for Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 7am to 1pm and some alternating Saturdays from 8:30 am to 2pm.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages such as coffee, tea, lattes, smoothies, Frappuccino and specialty drinks Cook breakfast sandwiches, make sandwich wraps, keep grab and go cooler stocked with bottled drinks, fruit, etc.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including the service area and seating areas
- Handle cash transactions and operate cash register with precision
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper handling procedures
- Assist in stocking and replenishing cafe items as needed
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service to enhance the overall guest experience
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry or customer service preferred
- Proficiency in basic math for cash handling and order processing
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Sales skills to promote products and upsell to customers
