Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Runner to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will support restaurant operations by efficiently delivering food and supplies, assisting with guest needs, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless dining experience for guests and supporting the culinary team. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, but a positive attitude and strong communication skills are key. The Runner will play a vital role in upholding food safety standards and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Deliver food orders promptly from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are maintained Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing Support the serving staff by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and attending to guest requests Restock supplies in dining areas, including utensils, napkins, and condiments Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including clearing trays and cleaning spills Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing when required Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper handling procedures during all tasks Collaborate with kitchen staff to facilitate smooth service flow during busy periods Support banquet or event setups as needed, including moving supplies or equipment Experience Prior experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality preferred Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Familiarity with banquet service, bussing, cooking, or hotel guest services is a plus Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment Previous kitchen experience or culinary background is beneficial but not required Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly demeanor This position offers an engaging environment where teamwork and hospitality excellence are valued. Candidates should be enthusiastic about providing outstanding guest experiences while maintaining high standards of food safety and service quality.
