Part-Time Job Summary:

Steak 'n Shake is looking for energetic, dependable, and customer-focused Team Members to join our team. As a Team Member, you will provide outstanding guest service while preparing high-quality food in a clean, fast-paced, and friendly environment. We are seeking individuals who enjoy working as part of a team and take pride in creating a positive dining experience for every guest.

Responsibilities:

Welcome and assist guests with a friendly, positive attitude. Take customer orders accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Prepare food and hand-crafted milkshakes according to Steak 'n Shake standards. Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, kitchen, restrooms, and workstations. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Restock supplies. Work collaboratively with teammates to ensure efficient restaurant operations. Handle cash and process payments accurately. Perform opening, closing, and other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Ability to stand for extended periods. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Previous restaurant or customer service experience is preferred but not required—we are happy to train the right candidate.
