Sandwich Artist/Cashier

Responsibilities Prepare high-quality sandwiches and food items according to established recipes and standards while maintaining food safety and sanitation protocols Operate POS systems such as Square POS efficiently for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing guest inquiries with enthusiasm Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen station, and food preparation zones through regular bussing and sanitation practices Manage cash register operations accurately, including cash handling, basic math calculations, and balancing cash drawers at shift end Assist in food stocking, inventory management, and ensuring all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations Support team members during busy periods by multitasking effectively in food preparation, serving, and cashier duties Qualifications Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently and create positive guest interactions Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while managing time effectively Experience with kitchen tasks like food preparation or culinary work is advantageous but not mandatory Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels great experiences!
