Tips Job Summary:

We're looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team at Pecan Jacks! As a Team Member / Ice Cream Scooper, you'll be responsible for creating a fun and memorable guest experience through sampling, educating, and selling our handcrafted candies and ice cream. You'll also help maintain store cleanliness and contribute to overall store performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Clock in/out accurately using the Square app Greet every customer with "Welcome to Pecan Jacks" Create a positive guest experience through sampling and product knowledge Answer customer questions and make helpful product suggestions Answer phones and take phone orders Share information about specials, website ordering, and other store locations Move with urgency during high-volume periods Maintain cleanliness throughout the store: sweeping, mopping, dusting, windows, trash, patio, etc. Follow health and sanitation protocols for food handling Keep candy and ice cream areas stocked and clean Scoop and serve ice cream using proper serving weights Maintain dipping cabinets and complete daily ice cream maintenance Complete JOLT checklists for operational standards Operate POS system, handle transactions, and count change accurately Stock and rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) Prepare and make waffle cones Complete all tasks assigned by management and notify when complete

Requirements:

Outgoing personality and great manners Strong communication skills and eye contact Team player with a respectful attitude Ability to follow multi-step directions Basic computer and iPad POS skills Nights and weekends required

Physical Requirements:

Neat, clean, and professional appearance Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Able to scoop ice cream for extended periods Must be able to stand for extended periods Join our fun and energetic team and be a part of delivering smiles one scoop at a time!

Pay:

From $14.00 per hour
