Duties Prepare fresh sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions with accuracy and efficiency. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders, answering questions about menu options, and upselling additional items to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning workstations, utensils, and food prep areas in accordance with food safety regulations. Manage time effectively during busy periods by multitasking between food prep, cashiering, and assisting with food handling duties like bussing tables or restocking supplies. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with sanitation standards within a quick service or fast-food restaurant setting. Support the team by assisting with kitchen tasks such as slicing ingredients, assembling sandwiches, and ensuring efficient workflow during peak hours. Experience Previous experience in food preparation or food service roles within a restaurant or café environment is required; extra training will be provide. Familiarity with POS enhances efficiency in order processing and cash handling. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques is highly valued. Experience working in a fast-paced environment such as a quick service or grocery store setting is advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while managing multiple responsibilities during busy shifts.
