Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Food Preparation Worker to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. You will assist in the preparation of food items, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, and support our chefs in delivering high-quality meals to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and hospitality, with a commitment to excellence in every aspect of their work. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of food items according to recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas. Perform bussing duties to ensure dining areas are clean and well-presented. Support cooking staff by preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking tasks. Ensure proper food handling and storage practices are followed at all times. Participate in catering events, including setup, service, and cleanup. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Experience Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is preferred. Familiarity with restaurant or hotel environments is a plus. Experience in catering or banquet services is advantageous. Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary techniques is essential. Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail to maintain hygiene standards. A background in hospitality or customer service is beneficial.
