Sandwich Artist/Cashier

Duties Prepare fresh sandwiches and food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience. Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision, maintaining accurate cash handling records. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, food prep areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety standards. Restock supplies, ingredients, and packaging materials to ensure smooth daily operations. Assist with bussing tables and managing food handling duties to support overall restaurant flow. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently. Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy. Previous restaurant or retail experience is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential.
