Duties Prepare fresh sandwiches, salads, and other food items according to company standards, maintaining high quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience and increase sales. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and food handling with precision while adhering to cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food prep zones in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with food industry tasks such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring quick service during busy hours. Manage time effectively to ensure fast turnaround times while delivering excellent customer service in a quick service or fast-food restaurant setting. Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation or food service roles such as café, retail grocery store, or restaurant is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
