Playa Bowls is New Jersey's Original Acai Shop, founded in 2014, and our mission is to bring superfruit bowls to the masses using only the freshest, highest quality ingredients while providing a fantastic in-store brand experience. What began as a pair of blenders, a patio table, and a fridge has flourished into a 300+ unit operator and franchisor of the leading fast casual restaurant concept. Playa Bowls added more than 70+ locations in 2024 and are on target to add as many 90 new locations in 2025. Role:
As a Team Member in the Accommodation and Food Services industry, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive guest experience. Your primary focus will be to support daily operations by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and providing friendly, efficient service to guests. You will collaborate closely with other team members to uphold high standards of quality, safety, and hospitality. This role requires adaptability and a proactive approach to meet the dynamic needs of the service environment. Ultimately, your contributions will help create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and enhances the overall reputation of the establishment.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Basic communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity. Willingness to learn and follow company policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Customer service training or certification. Ability to operate point-of-sale (POS) systems. Bilingual skills to assist a diverse customer base.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist guests in a courteous and professional manner, addressing their needs promptly. Prepare and serve food and beverages according to company standards and health regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, dining spaces, and equipment. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations. Follow all safety, sanitation, and operational procedures to comply with regulatory requirements.

Team members use their interpersonal skills to create a welcoming environment and resolve guest inquiries or concerns promptly.
