Aloha! We are hiring new crew members for a new Korean cafe near downtown in Kopiko plaza, next to UPS in Kona Town! We serve Korean style shaved ice (AKA Bingsu), mochi donuts, drinks and Korean food. Crew members will be actively engaging with customers, handling food, and assist with back of house. Crew members will also prepare food and drinks, and other various kitchen work. $18-19/hour + tip for Back of House crew members $20/hour + tip for Back of House shift lead crew members (tip about $3+) ~~~~~Room for raises as we will need managers!~~~~~

We are a counter service style cafe and are not full service. Customers will order at the counter and pick up their food at the counter.

Key activities and responsibilities:

Preparing and serving food, making coffee and drinks, and collecting money Use POS system (Clover) - clocking in and out, taking payments, closing register Ensure cafe is fully stocked, notifying management of any restock needs Follow recipes for making mochi donuts, glazes, purees, shaved ice base, coffee, Korean food, etc. Wash dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils Clean and care for equipment, such as mixers, blenders, shaved ice machines, and coffee machine Clean cafe areas, inside and outside Check that cafe facilities and equipment are in good order, reporting any damage Ensure proper opening and closing times, setting up and clearing down as required Monitor use, stock, waste, and use-by dates Respond promptly to customer feedback, comments, or complaints Be familiar and up-to-date with policy and procedures Uphold highest standards of health and safety, cleanliness and professionalism As a Cafe Crew Member, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. Your core skills in POS systems, cash handling, and food service will enable you to efficiently manage transactions and assist customers with their orders. With premium skills in food preparation and time management, you will also contribute to the quality and speed of service.
