Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Host/Hostess/Foodrunner/Counter Server and become the welcoming face of our vibrant restaurant. In this energetic role, you will create memorable guest experiences by providing exceptional customer service, managing seating arrangements, and ensuring smooth communication between guests and the culinary team. Duties Greet guests with warmth and enthusiasm, managing reservations and walk-in seating efficiently Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or specials Take and relay guest orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Assist food runners by delivering dishes promptly and ensuring presentation standards are met Maintain cleanliness of host stand, dining area, and service stations to uphold hygiene standards Handle guest inquiries courteously over the phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive dining experience Qualifications Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests and team members Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving procedures, and guest services enhances your effectiveness in this role Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods in a busy environment Demonstrated hospitality skills including friendliness, patience, and professionalism Experience in hotel or guest services can be advantageous but is not mandatory This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow within the hospitality industry.
