Your expertise will ensure food safety standards are upheld while providing exceptional customer service. Duties Perform meat processing using specialized equipment such as meat slicing machines, knives, and other butchery tools, ensuring precise cuts and presentation. Prepare and trim meats according to established recipes and quality standards, including slicing, trimming, and portioning per customer requests. Operate meat processing machinery safely and efficiently while adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures to prevent contamination. Package meats carefully for retail display or customer take-home, maintaining visual appeal and freshness. Conduct visual inspections for quality control, ensuring all products meet safety standards and are free from spoilage or defects. Manage perishable goods by monitoring expiration dates, proper storage temperatures, and inventory levels to minimize waste. Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with product selection, answering questions about meat cuts, and offering culinary suggestions.
