Job Summary Green Acres is looking to add more highly skilled, dependable, motivated, and accountable equipment and truck operators and general crew members to our team for this coming winter season. We have truck plowing positions available We have positions available for Ag. tractors with snow blowers We have positions available for skid steers with snow pushers We have general crew member positions available for shoveling and snow blowing and salting. We service Hospitals, Nursing homes, Schools, HOA neighborhoods, etc. Safety is a non negotiable at all times. Clean insurable driving record needed to apply. Prior verifiable snow and ice management experience required for operator positions. We take snow seriously. We provide services for ALL snow events. Duties - Operate snow plows, including heavy-duty trucks equipped with plowing attachments, to clear snow from roads, parking lots, sidewalks, and other outdoor surfaces Apply de-icing materials such as salt or sand to prevent ice formation and enhance safety during winter weather conditions Conduct pre-operation inspections of plowing equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning, including checking hydraulic systems and power tools Coordinate with maintenance teams to address any obstacles or hazards encountered during snow removal operations Perform routine maintenance on plowing machinery and groundskeeping equipment to ensure optimal performance Follow all site maps and safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment in outdoor conditions Maintain communication according to standards that will be discussed if hired. Requirements - Proven outdoor work experience in snow plowing or groundskeeping roles involving ground maintenance equipment operation Mechanical knowledge related to snow plowing operations Familiarity with commercial snow and ice management and the schedule expected during snow storms Ability to operate snow plows safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols Strong physical stamina for extended periods of outdoor work in varying weather conditions Excellent attention to detail and proactive approach to work quality, equipment maintenance and safety standards Interested?
