In this role, you'll be the friendly face welcoming customers, taking orders, and ensuring smooth service from start to finish. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service to enhance their experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and efficient transactions Prepare and assemble food items following safety and sanitation standards, including food handling and basic food preparation tasks Upsell menu items to increase sales and promote special offers through engaging customer interactions Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and balancing registers at shift end Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and supporting overall restaurant sanitation efforts Assist in food prep and kitchen support when needed to ensure timely service during busy periods Requirements Prior experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy Experience with food preparation or culinary tasks is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed Join our new establishment in Peoria Heights where your enthusiasm fuels memorable guest experiences!
