Duties Prepare a variety of deli foods including slicing meats, cheeses, and preparing salads with precision and care Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Assist customers with their food orders, offering product recommendations and upselling items to enhance their experience Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area, including food handling, equipment cleaning, and workspace organization Manage cash register operations, processing cash transactions while ensuring accuracy in math calculations Operate kitchen equipment safely, including slicers, ovens, and refrigerators, following all food safety protocols Support food safety management by adhering to sanitation standards and proper food handling procedures at all times Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service restaurants or cafes is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail transactions Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and follow sanitation guidelines diligently Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices in the food industry Retail sales experience with upselling techniques is a plus Food industry or restaurant experience that demonstrates quick service capabilities is highly valued Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels memorable customer experiences!
