Fast Food Crew Member

Job Summary We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Crew Members to join our team in a fast-paced environment at Dairy Queen. As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. You will be responsible for various tasks, including food preparation, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness in the work area. Responsibilities Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests and taking orders Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and dining areas Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper food handling practices Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy café environment Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours Skills Previous experience in food preparation or culinary roles is preferred Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS or Micros POS Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests positively Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations Experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is a plus Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere while also being self-motivated Join us as we strive to provide an exceptional dining experience for our customers!
