Job Description

Responsibilities:
Comply with all safety requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices. Conduct daily cleaning of plant processing equipment and facilities, ensuring equipment sanitation standards are being met. This includes disassembling and reassembling equipment, power washing, sanitizing, lifting, carrying and pushing containers as well as complete housekeeping of the breakroom, restrooms along and keeping the trash emptied. Adhere to chemical handling procedures using SDS sheets as a guide to handling. Work with Quality Control team on pre-op inspections. Works hands-on when needed, demonstrating expectations and training employees.
Physical Demands:
Will be required to stand for long periods of time and to occasionally sit, bend or stoop to perform certain tasks. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Will frequently be required to make coordinated hand and finger movements to grasp and manipulate objects. Must be able to wear personal PPE as required. Includes gloves, masks, etc.
Food Safety Responsibility:
Follow and have high standards of personal hygiene practices.
