This is a part-time job through the Fall, Spring, and Summer seasons. Currently in the fall season operations are conducted through the weekend only. Duties Prepare and serve a range of food items, including snacks, beverages, and quick-service meals, following food safety guidelines. Operate POS systems such as Square POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling additional items to enhance guest experience. Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and accurately process cash transactions. Maintain cleanliness of the workspace by sanitizing surfaces, restocking supplies, and adhering to sanitation standards. Operate kitchen equipment safely for food preparation and ensure all food handling procedures meet health regulations. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and resolving any issues promptly. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick-service restaurant environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS for sales processing. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude. Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately. Experience operating kitchen equipment such as fryers or warming stations is a plus.
