Flexible — days, evenings, and weekends depending on events About the Position Kona Ice is looking for dependable, energetic, and friendly Crew Members to join our team! This is a fun, fast-paced position perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, being outdoors, and bringing smiles to kids, families, schools, businesses, and community events. Our Crew Members do much more than serve shaved ice. You'll help operate a Kona Ice truck at schools, sporting events, festivals, birthday parties, corporate events, fundraisers, and other community celebrations. Responsibilities Safely drive a Kona Ice truck to and from scheduled events Arrive on time and properly set up the truck for service Greet customers with a friendly, positive attitude Prepare and serve Kona Ice quickly and accurately Operate the point-of-sale system and handle cash/card transactions Keep the truck clean, organized, stocked, and presentable Restock cups, flavors, supplies, and other products as needed Follow food safety, sanitation, and company procedures Communicate professionally with event contacts, customers, and team members Help create a fun, upbeat Kona Ice experience at every event Complete opening and closing procedures, including cleaning the truck after events What We're Looking For Dependable and punctual Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with customers Able to work independently and make good decisions Responsible and trustworthy Comfortable driving a larger vehicle Able to work in a fast-paced environment Willing to work some evenings and weekends Able to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in warm weather Able to lift and carry supplies as needed Previous customer service, food service, or cash-handling experience is helpful but not required Requirements Must be 18 years or older Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Reliable transportation to and from our location Ability to safely operate a Kona Ice truck Smartphone and ability to communicate reliably regarding scheduling Must be available for a combination of weekday, evening, and/or weekend events Why Join Kona Ice?
