Job Description
Job Description and Scope:
The job of a Fulfillment Center Picker is to play a part in order fulfillment from start to finish. Fulfillment Center Pickers are responsible for being as accurate as possible when picking the product for the order. This member is also responsible for being as efficient as possible and combining speed and accuracy in the department to which they are assigned. This team member is not limited to one department but can be needed in all departments, even multiple departments per shift.Picking Responsibilities:
Scan barcodes on boxes to see what items need to be picked in their desired zone Pick the correct product as well as the correct quantity of products and place in the correct box Make sure all orders are picked accurately and quickly as possible Help other people in the picking department if they are backed up or are picking up set-asides Keeps area clean and organized Works as a team with other team members- Overtime is required when assigned during peak periods.
Weekend Shift:
Friday and Saturday- 7 am
- 7:30 pm, and Sunday 1:00 pm
- 11:30 pm
- Work all 34 hours and get paid for 40!
Requirements:
Be able to be on your feet for an extended time Must be able to keep up with the workflow, often very fast-paced Be able to walk upwards of 10 miles a day Be able to lift 10-20 pounds from the floor to the waist Be able to adapt to changing situations and assignments Notice discrepancies in orders or products when filling them Have good communication skills and teamwork as a priorityPreferred Experience:
