Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving deli products in a fast-paced environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring food safety standards are met and that our customers receive high-quality products. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their deli orders, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Prepare and serve deli items including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches according to food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including bussing tables and cleaning surfaces. Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking products as needed to ensure availability. Adhere to all food safety protocols to maintain a safe and sanitary work environment. Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and provide excellent customer service. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Qualifications Previous experience in a grocery store, café, or quick service fast food restaurant is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a busy environment. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. A willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and sales is essential.
