to 7PM & SUNDAY 10AM to 5PM (with some weekday possibilities leading to more opportunities) The Deli @ Gary's Liquors is looking for highly motivated and friendly people to join our team. We are a takeout only establishment serving sandwiches, grill items, salads, prepared, and by the pound items. The Deli is open 7 days a week Monday Through Saturday 8 AM to 7PM, and Sundays 10am - 5pm. Day shifts, and evening shifts are available. We are looking for people with experience in the food industry! Serve Safe Certified is a plus! Responsibilities Make sandwiches for in-store and delivery orders. Preparing special orders and party trays Greet guests and answer menu questions. Prep food items at beginning of shift Properly store food items at end of shift Keep a clean and safe work area. Break down and clean stations at the end of the shift. Update displays, cases, and other customer-facing areas to ensure new items and promotions are showcased. Recommending, slicing, weighing, packaging, and pricing meats and cheeses Full description We are looking for a Sandwich Maker/Deli Clerk to join our team and assist customers as they look for items sold at our deli counter. You will make sandwiches for in-store, but you should feel comfortable answering the phone. Kitchen experience is a plus since you will be responsible for preparing sandwich ingredients and properly storing items at the end of your shift. You will also greet guests and answer any questions they may have about our sandwich menu. This position will work directly with the Deli Manager and other employees to complete tasks throughout their shift. Ultimately, you will serve customers promptly and accurately, ensure food quality and safety and help support the deli at large.
