Overview Join our La Colombiana team as a Fast Food Crew Member and become the heartbeat of our Colombian street food restaurant! In this energetic role, you'll be the face of our brand, delivering exceptional customer service while efficiently preparing and serving delicious food. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop foundational skills in food preparation, cashiering, and food safety, all while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Whether you're passionate about the food industry or eager to gain retail experience, this role is perfect for motivated individuals ready to make an impact! Duties Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and freshness. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Clover to process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Provide friendly, prompt customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience. Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accurate register balances. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food prep zones in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with food handling tasks such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and supporting kitchen operations during busy periods. Support team members by managing time effectively during peak hours to ensure quick service and high customer satisfaction. Qualifications Prior experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential! Fluent In Spanish & English Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude; ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures. Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is advantageous but not mandatory; we value motivated individuals eager to grow within the food industry.
