Job Description

BINA Farm Center is seeking a highly qualified, dependable part-time or full-time team member to support the daily care and maintenance of our hardworking herd of 12 therapy horses. This position requires a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. We are looking for someone with proven equine experience who can take initiative, follow established protocols, and consistently contribute to a safe, clean, and well-managed barn environment.
Requirements:
Previous equine experience is required Ability to work independently and follow established routines and protocols Strong work ethic and reliability Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Physically able to lift 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks Flexible availability, including weekdays and weekends Ability to work collaboratively with other staff and volunteers
Responsibilities:
Daily care of a herd of 12 horses Feeding hay and grain according to individualized feed charts Turning horses in and out safely Cleaning stalls and picking paddocks Cleaning and refilling water buckets Monitoring and reporting on horse health and behavior Maintaining cleanliness of the barn and paddocks Restocking hay and shavings Assisting with general facility upkeep and minor maintenance tasks Assist as a leader or sidewalker in adaptive riding lessons when needed
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
