8/24/2026 SUMMARY Provides Patient Meal Service and cleans all areas supporting Meal Service. RESPONSIBILITIES KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurately assemble, distribute, and collect patient trays Collect patient trays at the appropriate time and in an efficient manner Clean all wares used for this purpose Clean all equipment used for this purpose Clean dish machine, dish room, and equipment appropriately Respond to patient requests in a timely manner Pass patient trays in a correct and courteous manner Handle food in a safe manner (i.e., maintains temps, uses barriers, observes HACCP plan) Strip trays per procedure and in a timely manner Perform all other tasks as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Able to understand and follow instructions Read English Work on feet for long periods of time Able to be courteous with all customer groups Previous food service experience Be cooperative in interactions, treating customers with courtesy, respect, and compassion Be patient when responding to questions and answer questions appropriately Respond to requests in a timely manner Handle interruptions in a skillful way Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor Strive to prevent/resolve customer concerns to the customer's satisfaction Be responsible for ongoing development of his/her work skills through the use of available resources (i.e., inservices, formal educational programs, other work groups, and on-the-job training) Attend and participate in staff meetings and inservices and/or review documentation as required Assist in the orientation of others and actively participate in mentoring Perform analytical and decision-making functions with minimal supervision Recognize and seek assistance/consultation when appropriate Demonstrate an understanding of relative Hospital and all-departmental policies and procedures including safety issues Possess awareness of programs/services provided by Hospital and where they are located Pay Range $19.30-$28.15 Location Morton Hospital - 88 Washington Street Taunton, Massachusetts 02780 Work Type 20 hours per week.
