In this energetic role, you will support the kitchen operations by preparing food, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients for menu items Follow recipes and menu guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in meal presentation Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards throughout all kitchen activities Support kitchen staff with cooking tasks, including grilling, sautéing, and plating dishes Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients Keep workstations clean and organized to promote efficiency and safety Contribute to catering orders and special event meal preparations as needed Experience Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Background in food handling, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred Culinary experience with menu planning, food preparation, and cooking techniques is advantageous Familiarity with fine dining standards and food safety protocols is a plus Skills in knife handling, meal preparation, and food industry practices are beneficial Experience in catering or large-scale food service environments will help you excel in this role This energetic position invites motivated individuals eager to grow their culinary expertise while supporting a lively team.
