Job Overview We are seeking an dependable and detail-oriented Deli Clerk to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the friendly face behind our deli counter, preparing and serving delicious food while providing exceptional customer service. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and ensure smooth daily operations in our busy deli section. Duties Prepare fresh deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and cold cuts with precision and care Serve customers efficiently while upselling additional products to enhance their experience Operate POS systems including Toast, for orders Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food handling areas, adhering to food safety regulations Restock deli displays, organize products, and manage inventory levels to ensure freshness and availability Assist with food preparation tasks like slicing meats, cheeses, and other ingredients as needed Support overall store operations by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring a tidy environment Skills Proven experience in food preparation within a quick service or fast food restaurant environment Strong customer service skills as well as ability to work in a team Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for inventory management Previous experience in a grocery store or retail food industry is a plus but not required Join us at Frank's Bake Shop to be part of a passionate team dedicated to quality food and outstanding service.
