Job Overview We are on the lookout for a friendly and energetic Sandwich Artist/Cashier to join our fast-paced food service team. In this role, you'll be the face of our establishment, creating delicious sandwiches and ensuring every customer has a positive experience. Whether you're preparing fresh ingredients or handling transactions at the register, your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help us deliver top-notch service. Duties Prepare a variety of sandwiches and food items according to established recipes and quality standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently. Manage customer orders with care, ensuring quick turnaround times and satisfaction. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including food prep areas, dining spaces, and cashier stations. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change while adhering to cash handling procedures. Upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities while providing friendly customer service. Follow food safety protocols, sanitation guidelines, and proper food handling practices to ensure a safe environment for all. Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred. Familiarity with food preparation, food safety management, and kitchen equipment operation. Experience with retail sales transactions, cashiering, and POS systems like Aloha or Micros is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently without compromising quality. Background in food industry roles such as café work, grocery store experience, or restaurant service is beneficial. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math tasks. A positive attitude with excellent customer service skills to create welcoming interactions with guests.
