Job Description
About The Camp Camp O-AT-KA, founded in 1906 on the shore of Lake Sebago in Maine is a traditional summer residential camp for boys ages 8-16. We seek to develop skills, instill confidence, and build character in a supportive family environment. We welcome campers and staff from a wide variety of backgrounds, and O-AT-KA seeks to bring them together by furthering common interests, promoting a sense of community, achieving progress toward goals, and fostering the development of lifelong friendships. Camp O-AT-KA offers 30+ activities in athletics, arts, boating, theater, nature, outdoor skills, swimming, etc. and sessions for the campers run from two to seven weeks. The campus is in the town of Sebago and is directly on Sebago Lake. About the Position Camp O-AT-KA is seeking qualified, passionate, and inspiring individuals that will take excellent care of our campers and staff by providing quality food service. The camp season is from Sunday, June 15th through Saturday, August 8th. This is a seasonal position with a Summer Camp for Boys feeding roughly 100 campers and 50 staff, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, seven days a week for 8 weeks. Full-time and part-time positions are available with flexible scheduling and competitive pay commensurate with position and experience, room and board, and an opportunity to spend the summer at a beautiful lakeside setting. With this position, you can stay at the camp or commute. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a team while preparing quality meals in a positive, friendly environment.
