Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Meat Clerk to join our team. The Meat Clerk will be responsible for merchandising various meat products in a retail setting.Responsibilities:
- Weigh, price, and label meat products
- Ensure proper storage and handling of meat products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat department
- Assist customers with meat selection and provide excellent customer service
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or retail environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation and handling procedures
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for weighing and pricing products accurately
