We're looking for a friendly, dependable Deli Clerk to help serve customers, prepare fresh foods, maintain attractive displays, and keep our deli running smoothly. Responsibilities Operating commercial meat slicers safely and efficiently Serve customers efficiently at the deli counter, providing friendly assistance and product recommendations to boost sales through upselling techniques Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all deli surfaces, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards Support overall store operations by bussing tables or cleaning work areas during slower periods Skills Ability to slice meats and cheeses to customer specifications Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse shoppers Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
