Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Front of House Team Member to create memorable guest experiences and ensure smooth operations at our hospitality venue. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service, managing guest relations, supporting daily front desk functions, assisting with laundry operations, and helping maintain the cleanliness and presentation of hotel common areas. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using multi-line phone systems and front desk software. Handle guest inquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance the guest experience. Coordinate reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately while maintaining organized records. Assist with guest requests promptly, resolving issues with a friendly attitude to ensure satisfaction. Support night audit procedures by reviewing daily transactions and preparing reports as needed. Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, organizing, and distributing hotel linens, towels, and other laundry items according to established standards. Monitor laundry inventory and report supply needs or equipment issues to management. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and workspaces. Help keep hotel common areas, including the lobby, hallways, guest service areas, and other public spaces, clean, organized, and presentable at all times. Follow hotel safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards to ensure a welcoming environment for guests and staff. Requirements Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel management roles preferred; hotel experience is highly valued. Previous experience with laundry operations, housekeeping support, or general hotel maintenance is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus. Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and proficiency with multi-line phone systems. Ability to handle guest relations professionally while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of front desk operations, guest services, and resort environments is desirable. Familiarity with night audit procedures and hotel management software is advantageous. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, folding linens, and standing for extended periods. A positive attitude, energetic approach, strong attention to cleanliness and organization, and eagerness to contribute to a dynamic team environment are essential.
