We are looking for a dependable, hard-working Kitchen Prep & Cook Assistant to join our team at Mannys kitchen. This role is hands-on and essential to daily kitchen operations. You'll be responsible for a mix of prep work and cooking, especially breading and frying. as well as supporting the head chef and keeping the kitchen clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities:

Breading and frying chicken and other menu items during service Chopping vegetables (e.g. onions, tomatoes) and preparing ingredients as needed Assisting with food prep, including sauces, sides, and station setup Keeping the kitchen clean throughout the shift and doing end-of-day cleaning Refilling and stocking stations and supplies Helping the lead cook/chef with any tasks needed during busy periods Following all food safety and cleanliness guidelines

What We're Looking For:

Someone reliable and ready to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to follow instructions and stay organized Some kitchen experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right person Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs A team player who's willing to help wherever needed
