Company Overview We are a family-owned franchisee operating Subway stores in northern Minnesota. Our team is dedicated to providing fresh, quality food and excellent customer service in a welcoming environment. Job Overview We're looking for a friendly and motivated Food Service / Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you'll be the face of our store, preparing delicious sandwiches and ensuring every guest has a positive experience. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced setting and take pride in food quality and customer satisfaction, this is the perfect opportunity for you! Duties Prepare and assemble sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, payments, and sales transactions. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food handling and storage practices. Assist with cashiering duties, including cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience. Support food safety protocols by following sanitation guidelines and proper food handling procedures. Help with bussing tables or cleaning workstations to ensure a tidy environment for staff and guests. Skills Previous experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or retail food environments is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices. Ability to work quickly while maintaining accuracy in food handling and cashiering tasks. Basic math skills for cash handling, grocery store math, or retail math calculations.
