Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Assist customers with their food orders, offering recommendations and upselling products to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, including food prep areas, equipment, and utensils in compliance with food safety regulations. Manage cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and handle cash handling responsibilities responsibly. Restock deli shelves with fresh products, ensure proper food handling procedures are followed, and monitor inventory levels. Support food safety management practices by adhering to sanitation standards, proper food handling techniques, and safety protocols during all food preparation activities. Skills Proven experience in food preparation within quick service or fast-food restaurant environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail sales transactions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and upsell products confidently. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean workspace. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods seamlessly. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing inventory counts.
