Overview As a Front of House (FOH) Team Member at Chick-fil-A Florissant, you are the face of our brand and the first point of contact for our guests. This full-time role requires a high-energy individual who is committed to providing "Genuine Hospitality" in a fast-paced environment. You will rotate between Front Counter and Drive-Thru operations, ensuring every guest receives accurate service with a smile and a "My Pleasure."

Duties Front Counter Excellence:

Order Taking:

Greet guests with a warm welcome, listen carefully to their needs, and accurately enter orders into the POS system.

Guest Connection:

Maintain eye contact, share a smile, and use a friendly tone of voice to create a welcoming atmosphere.

Meal Delivery:

Accurately identify guests using table markers or descriptors and confirm the order upon presentation to ensure 100% accuracy.

Payment Processing:

Handle cash and credit transactions securely, scan mobile devices for the Chick-fil-A App, and provide receipts.

Dining Room Stewardship:

Proactively refresh beverages, clear trays, and ensure the dining area is spotlessly clean for our guests.

Drive-Thru Operations:

Upstream Ordering:

Work outdoors in the drive-thru cockpit or as a mobile order taker (iPOS), braving the elements to serve guests quickly and efficiently.

Safety First:

Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing high-visibility reflective vests and staying within designated "safe zones" near moving vehicles.

Speed & Accuracy:

Maintain a sense of urgency to keep the line moving while ensuring every order is double-checked for accuracy.

Window/Door Operations:

Efficiently present meals and process payments at the window or hospitality door, ensuring a fond farewell to every guest.

Requirements Availability:

Must be available to work full-time hours (32-40+ hours per week) with open availability for various shifts, including mornings, evenings, and Saturdays.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain) for Drive-Thru shifts.

Professionalism:

Must adhere to Chick-fil-A grooming and appearance standards (clean-shaven, hair pulled back, no fake nails/polish, etc.).
