- Follow all company Policies and Procedures, Quality and Environmental Management Systems (QMS & EMS), Kawasaki Production System (KPS) and any other legal and compliance regulations that may apply such as OSHA.
- Identify parts, lift metal stock or work pieces manually or using hoists, and position and secure them in machines, using fasteners and hand tools.
- Operate, monitor and maintain equipment used in the production process as required.
- Align and secure jigs, fixtures, tools, attachments, accessories, and materials to meet specifications as required.
- Communicate any production needs or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Perform minor assembly using power tools and hand tools.
- Remove and replace tooling as required.
- Measure and calculate dimensions and tolerances of work pieces using mathematics, precision measuring instruments, and/or fixtures to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Follow related documentation to verify all processes to ensure safety and quality.
- Record production through appropriate documentation, marking and tagging procedures as required.
- Performs job duties in a safe and appropriate manner as well as follows all work and safety rules including any specialized safety and health training.
- Responsible for cleanliness of work area.
