Youth Services Team Member Chesterfield, MO 63005 Quick Apply Overview Salary Range $15.00 - $15.00 Hourly Position Type Part Time Category Nonprofit - Social Services Quick Apply Description Responsibilities include: Welcome all children and families. Provide outstanding care while following area-specific procedures which may include changing and disposing of diapers, leading age-appropriate activities, and relaying any pertinent information to families about their children. Engage in the planning, preparation, and execution of games, activities, and schedules for all age groups. Maintain a safe and clean environment for all children, following area-specific procedures which may include disinfecting toys, putting equipment back in age-specific areas, alerting the manager about broken equipment, and logging cleaning supplies. Observe children's behavior, assess its appropriateness, enforce appropriate safety regulations and emergency procedures; apply appropriate behavior management techniques. Attend all required training and meetings. Comply with safety and emergency procedures. Maintain good attendance and have reliable transportation. Follow all J rules, regulations, and standards. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED preferred. Previous childcare experience is essential. CPR/First Aid certification preferred. Able to assist in emergency situations as needed. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be available to work some weekends and holidays. Must be able to perform all duties of the job including bending, squatting, sitting on the floor, and lifting up to 30 pounds. Share job details to
