Patio 44 is an upscale, casual, full service restaurant specializing in local and regional cuisine, offering food and service like no other. With our fresh, chef driven menu, scratch bar, and award winning service you can be assured that you are joining the best team from the Gulf Coast to the Pine Belt. Summary As a Culinary Team Member, you will be an integral part of our food service operations, reporting to the Kitchen Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient preparation and presentation of food while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Utilizing your core skills in customer service, cash handling, and food handling, you will contribute to a positive dining experience. Your premium skills in time management and culinary experience will enhance our team's performance, while your relevant skills in kitchen experience and basic math will support daily operations. Join us to create memorable meals for our guests! Grill experience preferred Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders and addressing customer inquiries. Operate the POS system efficiently for processing transactions and handling cash. Prepare and serve food items in accordance with health and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining and kitchen areas. Assist with food preparation and ensure proper food handling practices. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during peak hours. Qualifications Experience in food service and quick service environments Proficient in cash handling and operating POS systems, including Aloha and Micros Strong customer service skills with a focus on upselling and sales Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced kitchen setting Previous culinary experience and familiarity with basic math for transactions
