This role supports daily café operations by taking orders accurately, maintaining clean and organized work areas, following food safety procedures, and contributing to a positive team environment. Key Responsibilities Greet guests in a friendly, upbeat, and professional manner. Deliver excellent customer service and create a welcoming café experience. Take customer orders accurately, repeat orders for confirmation, and process payments as assigned. Prepare smoothies, wraps, sandwiches, bowls, and other menu items according to recipes, portioning, and brand standards. Set up, stock, clean, and organize food preparation areas, smoothie stations, dining areas, restrooms, and other café spaces. Follow all food safety, sanitation, health, and security procedures. Assist with opening, closing, restocking, cleaning, and shift-change duties. Monitor product quality, freshness, and presentation before serving guests. Communicate clearly with team members, shift leaders, managers, vendors, and guests. Support a culture of teamwork, dependability, positivity, and accountability. Qualifications Previous restaurant, café, retail, or customer service experience is preferred, but not required. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Ability to provide friendly service in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills. Ability to follow recipes, procedures, safety standards, and dress code requirements. Basic math and cash handling skills are helpful for register duties. Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and reliability for scheduled shifts. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a shift. Ability to bend, reach, lift, carry, and stock supplies as needed. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Ability to work safely around café equipment and in a fast-paced food service environment. Frequent interaction with customers, team members, and management. Schedule and Availability Crew Members may work morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts depending on café needs. Flexible availability is preferred, and some shifts may include opening or closing responsibilities. Benefits Flexible scheduling may be available.
