Utility Pipe Crew Member

Friday Services is seeking to fill Utility Pipe Layer positions for our client, a construction company, located in Hendersonville, NC. Are you experienced in underground utilities or a strong laborer ready to grow into the trade? We are recruiting dependable, hard-working individuals for a direct-hire, full-time, long-term Utility/Pipe Layer roles supporting water and sewer installation projects in the WNC area. This is an opportunity to build a stable career in civil construction with a company that values productivity, safety, and long-term growth. What You'll Do Assist in installation of public and private water and sewer systems Follow grade and layout instructions Work safely inside trenches and around heavy equipment Perform trench prep, grading, shoveling, and pipe placement Maintain strong productivity in outdoor job site conditions What You Bring Ability to work outdoors year-round Physical stamina (lift 50+ lbs, work in trenches, uneven terrain) Strong attendance and reliability Reliable transportation Experience in underground utilities preferred but not required. Entry-level candidates with willingness to learn and positive attitude will be considered Preferred but not required: OSHA 10 certification, trenching experience, pipe laser familiarity, ability to read grade stakes.
